Twisty Willow uses top quality sound gear and lighting that suits any venue and performance.
We adapt the entertainment to suit every function from rowdy pubs to quieter cafes, restaurants, outdoors, ceilidhs and formal balls.
Concerts for Music in Parks, concerts, fairs, parades, markets and medieval jousts are always a buzz. We have been the host band and organisers of the Variety Stage at the Waipu Highland Games during New Years Day for 4 years. It features 7 or 8 local performers/bands including Twisty Willow, from 9.15am to 2.30pm.
We really enjoy going into schools to teach ceilidh dancing to students. Ceilidhs are a great mixer for school, church, family and youth group social nights. Our ceilidhs provide effective, fun, team experiences for corporate functions and conferences.
Ceilidhs make great fund-raisers and we have ideas to help your planning.
We have Irish, Scottish or combined Celtic programmes with familiar sing-along songs, tunes for old-time dancing and ceilidh dances appropriate as day-time entertainment for seniors.
